Site News Update

Posted January 4th, 2006 by Team Access

Content Changed: Things are really cruising along here on the Accesites.org website. So much so that it’s making front page news. We’re getting a number of submissions, the Checklist seems to be working out quite nicely so far based on the results of its use, and enhancements for users of certain non-visual browsers are being made thanks to suggestions by people like Terrence Wood from the Accessify Forums.

New! BloodStone Style And that’s not all, Mike launched the new User Settings page. A page that had actually been hidden up to this point. Mike’s cookie-based PHP-powered style changer is in place and thus we have something even more to offer in terms of visitor enjoyment. Jonathan Fenocchi made a cool new style sheet and did a great job with the colors — it’s a beautiful style. You can be sure more will be made… maybe you could make one, too. Other features will also be added at some point. Note: Go to the Settings page to switch styles.

But wait, there’s more: Our first award winner has been identified. Tony Crockford has earned a “Quality Universal Design Award” for his work. Want to learn more? Go check out our first real Showcase Entry. While you’re there, be sure to subscribe to the Showcase Feed as well. Congratulations Tony!
