Decoda
The Decoda web site is a real class-act. An envelope pusher in some regards, trying to ride the dangerously thin edge between design and accessible usability. Since this site passed our criteria and is now being listed here as an award winner, there was obviously a measure of success in the endeavor. But it was a tough call, and the design came at the expense of other site aspects. The subjective aspect of the design grade alone played a big role, but here it is and that alone speaks volumes.
The Decoda website was crafted by Bartosz Porzuczek (link not provided) and received an averaged Part I Score of: 12.03 and a Part II Score of: 5.1, for an Overall Score of: 17.13, making it eligible for an Award Level of: “Notable Universal Design.” Congratulations Bartosz!
